Fundriver carefully logs each customization made to a client database, and those customizations are reviewed any time a product upgrade is deployed. Customized clients will receive most upgrades that are not directly related to their customization, and will be excluded from any upgrade that would impact a customization. If Fundriver identifies an upgrade (or client requests one) that would be beneficial to the client but impacts a customization, we will work with that client in a test environment to ensure the integrity of the client’s data and processes.
Some upgrades, like Fundriver's Spending functionality that was released in 2018, was not deployed across the board because each client's spending set up needs to be tested and reviewed before the upgrade is applied.
