On 4/9/2022 Fundriver released a new Bulk Import type for Fund History.  This import type allows a client to import fund history for each GLID in bulk for any date prior to your Fundriver System Start Date (see Account Settings for this date).  Clients in the implementation process can also use this import type during the onboarding process to reset beginning values.

Types of history per GLID that can be imported via this import type:

1.    Historical Gift History

2.    Market Value or Units History (the historical unit price needs to be populated too)

3.    Investment Activity History (Income, Realized Gain/Losses, Unrealized Gain/Losses, Investment Fees)

4.    Book Value History

5.    Pledge History

6.    Spending Bucket History

7.    Non-Unitized Asset History

Uploading History:

The steps for using the bulk import functionality can be found here. You can download a clean template from the Organize > Bulk Import, populate, and upload the desired data.  If there are no errors on the file, the data then can be committed.

If there are corrections needed to be made to history that was previously imported, you have two options:

1.    Reupload a file with the correct values to override what was previously there, or

2.    Download the Preimport File on the file Maintenance tab and reupload that file.

Resetting Beginning Values (Onboarding only):

If you wish to correct values that were previously loaded during the implementation process, you can populate a clean template and import the data in.  If only 1 GLID needs to be updated, you only needs to list the 1 GLID with the correct value in the appropriate column.

Items to note:

1.    Date must be the System Start Date located under Account Settings.

2.    You will be required to reopen back to Period 1 in Fundriver Balance if you have previously closed any periods.

3.    You need to populate the historical unit price and either units or market value, not both.

Investment Portfolio Module clients:  If you update the Market Values of the GLIDs (which impact total pool value), please contact [email protected] to update the Market Values of their managers to match the total pool value.
